    90'ember 2e 1990. The 236th sends CPT Connell on an advance party to
       Saudi Arabia.

       Dec:efp.ber 4 1,990. The 236th leaves Germany on a commercial charter flight
       enroute to Saudi Arabia, with 121 personnel, with four of those soldiers
       being transferred to the 45th Medical Company. The 236th arrives in Rome,
       Italy at 2400hrs 5 Dec 1990. The company arrived at 0800 hrs 5 December
       1990 at Dharan International Airport. For the next two weeks the company
       conducted Port Operations at the port of King Abdul Aziz in Dammam, living
       in first class warehouse accomnodations.(hangar 18)


       December 8 1990. The 236th receives eight augmentees and four civilians to
       supplement wartime manning requirements. Unit conducts N.B.C. training in
       preparation for war.


       December 10 1990. Flight crews proceed to the docks to unload aircraft,
       working through the night into the next morning.

       December 11 1990.   Flight crews assemble aircraft and the company is
       involved with the massive effor@ of "Blade Taping".

          ember 15 1990. N.B.C. NCO SFC Balch distributes Atropine injectors and
     &    . tablets to the company.

       December 19 1990. The 236th departs Dammam/Dharan enroute to Northern
       Saudi Arabia with a convoy of 24 wheeled vehicles and 15 UH-60
       Helicopters. Base Camp was established at grid [CLASSIFIED) --olocated with
       the 12th EVAC Hospital and 30th Medical Group. The company remained at
       this locaton for four days.


       December 23 1990. The unit activates its qui   /ck reaction force in response
       to sightings of bedouins with AK-47's.


       December 24 1990 (Christmas Eve) The 236th says "Bah-Humbug" and breaks
       down the camp and relocates to Quaisemah airport, approximately eight
       miles to the northwest of the old location. After about twelve hours the
       camp was set up with necessary life support. From this point on, this was
       what we called home.



       December 30 1990. The 421st Command Sergant Major vis4@s the 236th in
       Saudi .


          emner 31 1990. The unit is called upon to respond to the first pre-war
          s casualty involving soldiers on a wrecked bus.

       January 4 1991. The unit begins the difficult "ask of constructing
       bunkers for protection against SCUDS.
