    SPO (PLNS/OPNS) 23 February 1991

    MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Addendum to Daily Staff Journal (DA Fm 1594) for 18-70 - 06TO hrs
    23 Feb 91

    1. Per phonecon this date between MSG Hendricks COSCOM Med Opns, and SFC
Williams, this office, the following mir@ufes from COSCOM CG's evening
Briefi 23 Feb 91 is disseminated for in-Formation and actions as required:

475 MASH requested eight (8) additional S & Ps; COSCOM states
not have any more. However they may be able to substitute HETTs
ns. Need to know wether or not the Substitute will suffice,..and
st what it is they have that requires moving. - (Action: ACS, S&S)
Follow-Up actions were coordinated with LTC Canella, (ACS, S&S),
ed that what was to be moved was unit equipment (lose items, which
s why the S&Ps are requested as opposed to HETTS); the 8 S&Ps are the
quivalent of the 16 HETTS they didn't receive but requested initially.
&Ps are perferred over the HETTS. - This info will be passed on to COSCOM
     Med Opns) for further disposition/actions.

        b. 345th MASH received two (2) MILVANs recently,..just how important
ar e they to them (apparently there is another unit in need); they also
rrequested support in moving the MILVANs... only support available are
"Bobtails". (Does the 345th have drivers available?) - (Action: ACS, S&S)

Initial follow-up coordination with Bde S&S (LTC Canella) was
ade and he stated he would take care of the issue and notify COSCOM (Med
     pns)

        C. COSCOM wants to Know how much H20 support do the 148/410 EVACs
have, and how much more is needed ? (Action: TF-EVAC HOSP/ACS, S&S)

Initial -Follow-up coordination with MAJ Graham (TFEH) indicated
that the hospitals did not have a problem with potable water, only with
bottle water for patients. Contact with Bde S&S pointed out that no
mention of water shortages had been indicated on the TFEH Cdr's SITREP,
thus he was unaware of any problems. Will contact TFEH and request
    further analysis of the situation.

        d. COSCOM states that another MILVAN of DCUs arrive tomorrow and
ey will contact ACS, S&S regarding pick-up -(Info/Action: ACS, S&S)

        e. The question was raised of wether or not the berms for CSHs
terbags(?) was finished today? If so when? - (Action: ACS, S&S)

Again -Folow-Ltp with Bde ACS, S&S indicated that they would close
    the loop on this action.
