December 1990. The second aircraft suffered a complete
hydraulic failure and made an emergency landing at Torrejon,
Spain one hour after departing that airfield for the final
leg to Saudi Arabia. All advanced elements were closed at
warehouse 18 at the port of Ad Damman, Saudi Arabia by the
evening of 17 December 1990. Preparations began immediately
for the departure to TAA ROOSEVELT.
