traveled per week is due to the movement of ammunition to the

2 January - Personnel from the 1103rd Trans Bn operations
section begin to dispatch IIETs and low bed trucks.
Contractor contacted concerning BETs broken down on the
Riyadh Expressway. COL Brown, 7th Trans Gp Cdr, keeps the
Threatcon Level at Charlie for all units assigned to the
Group. This is well received as many feel the precaution is
           wise.

3 January - Priority of movement from 93rd MC Bn is as
follows: 1 Cav Div, Tiger Bde (2 AD/CONUS), VII Corps,
Sustainment, Force Mod, Ammunition. our flatbed assets are
most suited to the movement of Supply Classes I, V and IX.
The placement of ammunition (Class V) last is due to the
elimination of the ammunition backlog at the ports. Once the
Corps is fully deployed, ammunition will enjoy a higher
priority as ammunition ships arrive in theater. When we are
engaged, and units begin to cut into their basic load, it is
expected that Class V shipments will become the highest
