            2 April - CPT Blake at KKMC.

            3 April - SFC Lapiere called from KKMC. Mail was forwarded
           to his unit yesterday.

            4 April - Routine operations.

            5 April - Routine operations.

            6 April - Routine operations.

            7 April - Routine operations.

            8 April - Bn run in the morning. Good run! Cmd and staff
           mtg. 1404th directed to turn its Mercedes 10 ton cargo
           "Circus" trucks in to the 32nd Group, and operational
           flatbeds over to D Co. This is in preparation for returning
           the 1404th to Dammam Port.

            9 April - Vehicles loaded with containers in our motor park
           are becoming a problem. The 32nd Gp is under pressure to
           clear them from KKMC yet we do not have disposition for them
           Often the container yards refuse to accept them as they have
           limited space, and the containers are not due to be loaded
           aboard ships for weeks. A truck is a poor place to store a
           container.

           10 April - 7 Gp FRAGO 43-91; Mission: 1404 Trans Co will
           operate all Sterile Staging Areas (SSA) on Dammam Port, and
           will be OPCON to 24 Trans Bn.

           Saudi authorities apprehend our civilian drivers for playing
           cards in the motor pool.

           11 April - Iraq agrees to co  -mply with the United Nations
           cease fire resolution. Threat level is set at medium, and
           the T[IREATCON at Bravo.

           12 April - C Co alerted to provide 80 flatbeds fo- mission to
           Log Base E. NCO's needed to escort convoys now that we are
           using civilian drivers. Permanent cease fire is in effect.

           13 April - Routine operations.

           14 April - 32nd Gp alerts Bn for 100 truck mission to move
           containers from KKMC to Dammam. Dark of the moon.

           15 April - Cmd and staff mtg. Bn strength: 750 soldiers.
           Assets available: 877 flatbed trucks. Ramadan ends.

           16 April - Routine operations.

           17 April - 32nd Gp S3, KAJ Stultz, passes warning order to
