           18 April - Routine operations.

           19 April - Routine operations.

           20 April - Routine operations.

           21 April - Routine operations.

           22 April - Bn four mile run in morning. Cmd and staff mtg.
           D Co truck in accident on the way to Kuwait. Minor in3'uries.

           23 April - COL Gaw, Cdr 32 Trans Gp visits the En and confers
           with the Bn Cdr. Bn Cdr and SGM depart for Jubayl for
           presentation of awards to departing soldiers of D Company.
           Report received on missing trucks. The wrong unit received
           them, loaded their equipment and sent them to the port.

           24 April - ILT Coates and SFC Grim depart for KKMC to provide
           command and control cell for 32nd Group. Bn Cdr and SGM
           present awards to remainder of the battalion's departing
           soldiers at Dammam. Codes on containers show ownership, and
           can be used to determine disposition.

           25 April - lLT Coates, assistant S3, arrives at KKMC to
           direct operations there. There are 9,000 containers to move,
           not 900 as previously reported.

           26 April - Telephone commo out with KKMC. Smoke.

           27 April - First redeployment wave of 355 soldiers departs.
           Well done. Strength of the battalion is now 256 soldiers.
           Commo problems continue to hamper coordination of convoys.

           28 April - Bn Cdr meets with 355th, 385th and 390th
           Trans Dets. Briefs redeployment plan. Full moon.

           29 April - Bn cmd and staff meeting. ILT Coates contacts Bn
           to request that no more trucks be dispatched to KKMC for the
           container mission until further notice.

           30 April - Heavy smoke. It is dark at noon. Street lights
           come on.
