We are visited by -B@G McFarland, the Corps Support Command
commander. Despite our hard work, he seems more interested in the
first sergeant's twisted chinstrap on his Kp-vlar helmet. we are
told that we will be moving to Kuwait City to set up our hospital
yet another time.
After seeing the needs of the refugees, some lst Armored
Division soldiers donate and deliver food, clothing, and candy
for our influx of civilian refugees. It seems that the G.I. is
the same in every war, ready to forgive, ready to be a friend,
even to those who were denouncing him just a short time ago.
After seeing the results of their generosity, they agree to return
with more donations as frequently as possible.

We have made the big time, today, as Cable News Network
arrives to look around and do some interviews. Yesterday we
evacuated almost 40 Iraqi patients, so the wards are relatively
empty. They interview the commander, the chief nurse, and several
