           Requested additional information from VII Corps on their collection
           capabilities with this type of aircraft.
               07 Jan - 6 Hip Helicopters defected / Denied by coalition forces
               10 Jan - VII Corps Vulnerability Assessment conducted at all line
           units (Tab B)
                      - VII Corps Commander increased Readiness Level (READCON).
           Requested guidance from VII Corps and provided information to all
           subordinate units. No increase to threatcon at this time
               11 Jan - Received message from Corps that a preemptive attack was
           scheduled 14 Jan at 0300 (C) Hours down Wadi to KKMC and supported with
           Hip and Hind helicopters./In@elligence does not support it at this time as
           no southern deployment of forces has been noted.
                      - Accidental discharge at D Btry while on guard duty
           (15'@5L)/Briefed LTC Dodgen and CPT Evans conducted investigation
               12 Jan - A Hawk lost Stinger / Complete search of area conducted and
           missile located at site they just departed. Fell from back of pick-up.
               13 Jan - Commander's Call / Briefed possible Iraq ground forces
           courses of action/Remotely Piloted Vehicle capabilities/ChL-mical
           Capability/Artillery Capability
                      - Scud Alert received at 1455 for possible launch to Hafir Al
           Batin / S-3 informed and units brought up in preparation
               14 Jan - U/I aircraft on border and tracked by ICC / MCF scrambled
               16 Jan - At 2400 all personnel will go to MOPP I in preparation *or
           possible retaliation from Iraq upon commencement of Air Campaign.
                      - Confusion on Threatcon Level between VII Corps and XVII ABN
           Corps. Requested clear guidance from VII Corps and all units will remain
           at Threatcon C.
