0151: All TF 2-5 recon elements return south of
the berm.
1014: TF 2-8 moves north of the berm to conduct
mounted reconnaissance and complete destruction of enemy
ammunition caches. The LOA for the TF is the 26 east-west
grid line.
1127: The FISTV from TF 2-6 laser designates an
Iraqi observation tower. 1-82 FA engages with two
Copperhead rounds. The building is rendered unserviceable
by the artillery fires.
1900: TF 2-8 observes a possible tracked vehicle,
two wheeled vehicles, and 20 personnel north of the berm.
1936: TF 2-8 engages targets with tank main gun
fires, TOWS, and mortar fire. Multiple hits are reported.
2335: TF 2-8 continues to observe sporadic
dismounted activity and engages with mortar fires.

20 Feb
0655: TF 2-8 conducts a sweep north of the berm
to assess enemy damage.
0811: TF 2-8 captures four EPWs during the sweep
north of the berm. No enemy KIAs or destroyed vehicles are
observed.
EPWs report that at least one vehicle was hit during the
night. 1
0900: TF 2-5 and TF 3-32 move forward in sector
to resestablish the defense along the 10 east-west grid
line.
1848: TF 2-5 moves north of the berm to conduct a
mounted recon in preparation for L-ross border raids. LOA
is the 26 east-west grid line.
2115: TF 2-5 engages a possible enemy vehicle
with artillery fire. 1-82 FA provides the supporting
fires.
2200: TF 2-5 engages a possible Iraqi OP position
with artillery fire. Secondary explosions are observed.
2218: TF 2-5 engages a second building with
artillery. Dismounts are observed fleeing from the
building. A repeat is requested.
2347: The TF 2-5 recon element returns south of
the berm.

21 Feb
1115: TF 2-8 captures one EPW.
1145: TF 3-32 completes the relief of TF 2-8 on
the screenline.
