                          1621: A 0-36 radar attached to 1-82 FA detects
                counterfire.
                          1624: 1-82 FA fires counterfire on the 0-36 plot.
                          1640; Incoming artillery fires are detected by
                the U-36  radar.
                          1646: 1-82 FA fires counterfire on the 0-36 plot.
                          1658: i-82 FA fires counterfires directed by
                DIVARTY. The target is located at PT260276, a range of 21
                kilometers. HE/RAP is used during the engagement.
                          1705:  TF 3-32 captures four EPWS.
                          23P5:  TF 3-32 captures ten EPWS.

                      25  Feb
                          0728:  TF 3-32 reports 78 EPWs currently in
                                 custody.
                          0811:  TF 3-32 reports an additional nine EPWs
                                 captured.
                          The brigade maintains readiness to begin movement
                with two hours notice. Planning is focused on movement
                through the 1 ID breach, or the brigade attacks north to
                establish a breach for the division.


                6. Phase Four: Movement to Breach Lanes and Consolidation
                on PL STROHS


                   a. Phase Four began on 26 February. The brigade
                received the mission to begin movement, pass through the 1
                ID breach lanes, and conduct further offensive operations
                on order. Phase Four ended on 28 February with the
                declaration of a temporary cease fire.

                   b. Important staff actions conducted during this phase
                included:


                       1) Planning priorities during this phase included:

                           a) Logistically support a Brigade Battle Task
                Force that moved more than 250 kilometers into Iraq.
                           b) Track the brigade forces and'react to verbal
                FRAGOs from the division headquarters.

                       2) Major orders published: There were no written
                orders published during this phase of operations. The
                brigade issued verbal FRABOs based on verbal and written
                division orders.
