On 25 February, Chwte Company avmd the border into Iraq, Two
days later, after travemng though a brutal sand stom and spending
seemingly enttess hours on the road, C Company ctived near An
N&siriyah, Iraq. Wr mission there was
to support 3rd Brigade as they cleared
the sector. The sector, as it turned out,
was teeming with unexploded ordinance,
bunkers, and mot;t of a ''enemy weapon
syswms, muntions end pemnnel.
After helping capture and detm the
nearly 1 500 Iraqi prisoners, Charlie
