          Of-Use MSG No. SOU-MEP-31-90, DTG 260512Z Dec    90.

          111%14 been found to -be ineffective and have poor overa I quality.
          3@4)e  Total stocks must be inspected and    numbers of uns'erviceab  le
          garments reported to this headquarters NLT 4 Jan 91. DISCOM must
          ensure contingency-stocks of overgarments are inspected. Each MSC
          will examine issued stocks and any stocks which are stored.

          4@.,@K Unserviceable lots issued to soldiers will be retrieved      and
          replacement overgarments requisitioned. When replacement
          overgarments are received, the unserviceable lots will be     turned
          in to the 407th S&T Battalion.
