          INITIAL ANNOUNCEMENT-GERMANY:

          11 NOV-7 DEC     Shortages of NBC Equipment identified,
          requisitions submitted, CDE received, and EQUIPMENT distributed
          to regiment. Regiment left Germany with 94% of authorized
          personnel strength with CDE. Remaining stocks of CDE: M256Al
          Detector Kits, decontaminates and marking kits were shipped to
          Saudi Arabia via Sea line container.     Shortages still exited in
          Class 8: Atropine, PB Tablets and CANA.

          16 DEC 90        MAJ DAVIS & CPT NONAMAKER went to port to
                           inventory FOX vacationed sign for FOX v4hicles
                           from 2d CML BN.
          18  DEC 90       SFC COCKRUM turned in requisitions for NAAKS
                           & PB Tablets to Regimental Class VIII. SFC
                           COCKRUM & SFC BROWN loaded vehicles for
                           movement to TAA RICHARDSON.
          26  DEC 90       Start of Mobile Training Team Training.
          10  JAN 91       End of Mobile Training Team Training.
          10  JAN 91       Ilth Chem Decon Platoon link up with 87th
                           chemical set for 0700 hrs 11 JAN '@2.
          15  JAN 91       Corps 6-4 to deliver CFOG'S before tommorrow am.
          16  JAN 91       Notified that all communication (NBC) with Corps
                           will be thru the CTAC.
          17  JAN 91       0230 hrs received notice that war started at 0145
                           hrs.
          17  JAN 91       All personnel told to keep Ice Pack close at
                           hand.
          17  JAN 91       Corps HQ Went to MOPP 4 due to Scud launch.
          IS  JAN 91       1-@2D CHEM CO (SMK) arrived at part.
          IB  JAN 91       Report over O&I net of explosion northeast of
                           84th Eng Co. Sent out IST Sqd of Recon Plt to
                           survey area for possibility of chem attack.
          19  JAN 91       Ordered squadrons to cross level equip where
                           excess exist.
          20  JAN 9i       2 ACR OPORD 91-2(OPERATION DESERT STORM)
