                          (D Personnel strength accounting will be
           accomplished IAW USAREUR Pam 680-3 (WartimL& Personnel
           Requirements System) as supplemented under separate message.
           Daily reports are required to include negative reports once the
           unit/individuals have been alerted for deployment.

                          (3) All reports will be as of 180OZ each day.
           Reports will be classified SECRET when identifying deployed
           units, locations, or unit strength in the message. Reports will
           be submitted to Cdr, 21st TAACOM, ATTN: AERPE-IE.

                     (c) Casualty Reporting. Once deployed, units will
           submit casualty reports IAW AR 600-B-1 through command channels
           to 3rd PERSCOM (ARCENT).   Corps GI will provide in-Fo copy of
           reports to Commander, Ist PERSCOM.

                     (d) Promotions. Exceptional promotion guidance -For
           deployed enlisted soldiers is contained in the -Following MILPER
           MSG:


                          (1) MILPER  MSG 90-229, DTG 16150OZ Aug 90, Subi:
           Promotion and Training Exceptions to Policy in Support of
           Operation Desert Shield.

                               IMILPER MSG 90-242, DTG 213090OZ Aug 90, Subi:
           SGT/SSG Promot:-.Dn Poard Procedural Guidance for Soldiers
           Deployed in Su@-P,@rt c3-F Operation Desert Shield.

                          (Z;) -MILPER MSF 90-275, DT(3 28160OZ Sep 90, Subi:
           Promotion Procejt--es for Attached Enlisted Personnel.

                     (e) DERitiCOER Processing. Following policy guidance
           regarding submission of (3ER/NCOER will be complied with-

                          (1) -MILPER MSG 90-231, DTG 17110OZ Aug 90, Subi:
           Submission of CEri/,@ICOER on Desert Shield Soldiers.

                               MILPER MSG 90-260, DTG 1-@1645Z Sep 90, Subi:
           CER/NCOER Processing During Operation Desert Shield.

                     (f) Personnel RL-corcis. MPRJ will remain at the
           deployed units, home station. MILPER MSG 90-272, DTG 241647Z
           Sep 90, Subi: Disposition of Field Personnel Records for Desert
           Shield, provides additional guidance regarding personnel records
           to be deployed with soldiers.

                     (g) Strength Accounting. SIDPERS data base will be
           updated to reflect those soldiers deployed IAW Cdr, Ist PERSCOM
           MSG, DTG 19140OZ Sep 90, Subi: Identi-Fication of Soldiers
           Deployed in Support of Operation Desert Shield. Additional
           guidance on data base management and procedures will be provide
           by Cdr, lst PERSCOM, as needed.
