         MEMORANDUM  FOR Commander,  226 ASG  (ATTN: MSG Urbanek)

         SUBJECT: IUMC  Hazardous Waste Collection Point



         1. Reference memorandum   from SUPCOM DEH to ACSMAT dated 10 May 91,
         subject: Class III (Package) Hazardous Waste (enclosed).

         2.   Request that certain Class III (Package) and NBC       materials
         presently in the hazardous waste area of the KKMC landf ill be
         transported to the 1012th as retrograde. The enclosed inventory
         identifies those material items managed by the 1012th.

         3.    Only full  containers will be transported to the 1012th.
         Partially opened or empty containers will remain at the landfill.
         Items need to be consolidated.by type. If possible, large quantity
         items should be boxed or pelletized.

         4.   Safety items such as portable eye wash or other source of
         flushing water, rubber gloves and protective clothing should be
         available.

         5. Coordination for this action should be made through lLT Holly
         (321 MMC), tac 7931-103.
