     PURPOSE:   To conduct an entrance conference of Hazardous Waste
     and Material.


     SOURCE:   interview with Maj Martin and Maj Thompson.


     CRITERIA:   None.


     SCOPE: Hazardous waste and material program within the SWA
     Theater.


     RESULTS/DISCUSSION:     Originally we thought MAJ Martin would be
     the proponent. After the introductions we were told that MAJ
     Thompson is in charge of Hazardous Waste and Material Program. I
     asked for copies of any Internal Controls insitituted, Policies,
     amount and locations of sites, and Point of Contacts (POC).

     MAJ Thompson gave me copies of Inventories of hazardous waste and
     materials, within the theater. Some of the items can be put back
     into the supply system, other material will have to be disposed of
     (see attached information).
