                  4.   Desert Shield/Desert Storm Version of Bible.       SUPCOM
            chaplain reported having a large quantity of the newest issue on
            hand.    Subsequent discussion with Corps chaplain representative
            revealed that he is already ahead of this.

                  5.   Gratuitous Issue of DCUS. SUPCOM ACS-LOS in receipt of
            a DA message which states that there is no legal authorization
            for gratuitous issue of DCUs to soldiers. Congressional decision
            on same not expected for several months.        Message originator
            recommended that DCUs be treated as organizational property.
                  6. Chief of Staff of the Army Visit. Will be in theater on'
            or about 20 APR.
