       operations and evacuation of personnel during electrical
       storms.


       6.. Questions arose as to the operational status of the
       r,iilhead and ammunition uploading during electrical Storms.
       Ammunition transfer points (ATF"s), rkilheads, the marshalling
       area, and motorpools were uploaded with -,MMLtnitiori ard/or had
       v(-hic:IeS uploaded with IMML.tnitiori. C.2(-)c-AE and O@a-Fety D-Fficer
       gLkj.dzAncF-, Suggested that all opei-.ktic)nn E@t sitl-s; crase
       during, and after the storm (.it least 2 hOLtr5 afterward).    The
       Division published guidance directing commtncJe:-T, to as7,ess the
       s:Ltuation as it pertained to their units, s-La-L.i.ng that -they,

       operations ceased or not.

       ammunition in open storage areas, facilities, xnd uploaded-
       vehicles, in accordance with TM 9-1-100-206 and AR 385-64.
       Personnel in open areas such as the railt-ir-!ad, the marshalling
       area, and in motorpools present prime targets for lightening
       ,itrikes, also.
