     Bites/stinqs 0.16% (2 cases)

     6. Significant trends:

     a. Heat injury - minimal problem in the units monitored, may be the result
of acclimatization over the past few weeks, and excellent water discipline.

     b. Diarrhea / GI - Remains a significant problem at some sites. The
current reliance on non-approved local foods is a vulnerability, and
demands the most meticulous food preparation possible. The participation
of foreign nationals in food preparation is also a vulnerability, not
completely controllable by food service inspection by PM.

     C. Dermatological - Skin problems remain common at most sites, though
impact appears to be minimal on force readiness.

     d. Respiratory - Anecdotal reports have indicated that attack rates are
high, especially in those areas where billeting is crowded. Impact on
     readiness appears to be minimal.

     e. Injury - Approximately 3% per week are being treated for injuries
     (mostly.minor).

     f. Psychiatric - Minimal problems in the units being monitored.

     g. Unexplained fever - NONE

     7. A more complete summary of this week's trends will be reported when
     data is available.
