        NTRODUCTION: What do you think your chances of     survival would
       be if you were never trained in military tactics    or survival skills
       in Boot Camp. Now well do you think you could perform your duties
       today if you never trained in your UbS. Have you ever been to war?
       Probably not, but you train for that possibility. Nuclear, Biological
       and Chemical Warfare are very real. The use of CHEMICAL AGENTS will
       undoubtedly play a major role in wartime, ranging from Smoke and
       I.ncQndiaries to TOXIC chemicals, such as Blister, Blood, Choking and
       Nerve. Do you think you have enough training and knowledge in these
       areas to survive and help your fellow Marines survive in a Chemically
       contaminated environment?

       PURPOSE: The purpose of this instruction is to provide you with a
       basic understanding of what Chemical Agents are. there Tactical us*,
       there affects on th*.body and what you can do to counteract those
       affects.

       4. State in writing the solf/first aid to counteract the effects
       of all agents discussed.
       5.  Perform the methods of-porsonn*l decontamination.
