            D.   There or* 2 groups of Nerve agents: G-seri*s and V-s*ri**.

                 1. G-S*ries which consists of 3 nerve agents and may produce
                 & vapor hazard. They are:

                 GB (SARIN)
                 GA (TABUN)
                 GD (SOMAN)

                 2. All are rapid acting and absorbed through the skin and
                 eyes, but are normally non-persistant, with the exception
                 of those agents that can be thickened such as, GD (SORAN)
                 which upon thickening may have a duration of several days.

                 3. V-Serieg consists of VX which is a quick acting, normally
                 persistent agent with no vapor hazard.

             E. EFFECTS OF NERVE AGENTS 09 TEEK BODY

                 (1) Body functions begin to malfunction, or will
                 be disturbed, resulting in the following symptoms:

                    a.  MILD STAPTOW

                        1. Unexplained runny non*

                        2. Unexplained sudden headache

                        3. Excosxive sudden drooling

                        4. Difficulty In mooing (reduced vision)

                        5. Tightness is chost/difficulty in breathing

                        8. Localized sweating and muscular twitching
                        localized


                        7. Stomach Cramps
