Purpose:

1.	The purpose of chemical training during the aforementioned
period is as follows:

	a.	Training the troops in applying massive protective
measures in defense and during offensive operations in
defense.

	b.	Training the chemical headquarters, units and elements
in how to provide the required chemical support to
troops in defense and during offensive operations in
defense, as well as training in firing weapons in
chemical units.

Training Period

2.	These commandments cover four months from September through
December. It covers the total training period (second
section) and reorganization.

Troops Participating in the Training

3. a.	Troops participating in Qadessiyyet Saddam Battle

These troops are trained according to the following
methodology:

First.	The chemical units and elements are pulled in
groups to the rear and in areas selected
through coordination between the Chemical
Branch Command and the Formation Headquarters.
The availability of air and ground protection
is ensured. Other requirements that must be
met include the ease of responding to
administrative requirements and practicing
training effectiveness under these conditions
whenever the formation's tactical situation
permits.

Second.	This period is divided into three training
rounds, each lasting 40 days.

Third.	Each chemical group included in this training
period sets up one training round for 40 days
for training and reorganization purposes. At
the conclusion of this training, they return
to the front to replace another group, and so
on.

Fourth.	The training course is divided as follows:

				(1)	Twenty-five days for tactical training
(from section level to company level).

				(2) Ten days for reorganization and firing.

				(3)	Five days for moving coping with changes.
