Appendix A.
Front units
Uninfected casualties are cleared from the unit's first aid station without 
any action to the casualty clearing station, except the life threatening 
cases.

A.	The following should be done in the unit's first aid station:
	1. 	Disinfect and first aid the cases that have not been disinfected 
by the injured himself.
	2. 	Complete treatment if symptoms have not gone away despite use of 
individual disinfection and first aid kit by the injured himself.
	3. 	Conduct artificial respiration and give Oxygen to cases requiring 
that.
	4. 	Treat and wrap injuries, and fill out the field form for the 
injured and mark those for the infected with word "infected"
	5. 	Treat the uninfected cases that are in a life threatening 
situation, and treat as infected cases as far as evacuation 
procedures are concerned, After that, the infected cases and other 
chemically exposed cases to the chemical injury disinfection and 
treatment detachment.
B.	After casualties are disinfected at the detachment to the advanced first 
aid station where injuries are bandaged with blankets, the treatment 
completion should be conducted at the advanced first aid station.

2. 	The first and second batch of uninfected Casualties should be moved to 
the medical field unit if their wounds are open.
3. 	Medical field unit to remain clean, i.e, infected injuries are not to be 
transferred to it.
4. 	Field Surgery Unit
5. 	Military hospitals and the other hospitals designated for uninfected 
injuries.
6. 	Military hospitals, or hospital departments that are designated to 
receive casualties whose infected injuries have been disinfected.
7. 	Casualties that need no hospitalization should be given service supplies 
from the medical field unit. They can be returned to their units or kept 
depending on their health status.
	Casualties with wounds that have been disinfected and wrapped should be 
moved to the hospitals designated to receive casualties with infected 
wounds. These hospitals are as follows:
		2nd corps:
		Bacoba military hospital
		Kut military hospital
		Jalola military hospital
		3rd corps and Shat al Arab operations:
		Basra military hospital
		4th corps and East Dejla operations
		Amara military emergency hospital, and Hay AlHussein youth center.
