2424 on 9\15\1985, below is the text of top secret and personal letter of chemical branch 
directorate number 702 on 9\15\1985.
Please acquaint, take the necessary measures and acknowledge.

Text of Letter

Your top secret and personal letter number 221 on 15 August 1985. Below are notes regarding 
procedure of operation and deployment of detachment for purifying and treating contaminated 
injuries attached to the above letter.
1- Article in the procedure.
a. Paragraph B: detachment of treating contaminated injuries is part of filed medical unit and 
should be deployed next to advanced first aid station to secure command and control to the 
commanding officer of field medical unit, to secure work coordination between the detachment 
and the station, to provide medical assistance and alternate members required to maintain the 
operation of the detachment. There is no need to specify a distance between the detachment and 
the station as stated in the above paragraph in the procedure.
b. Paragraph B, first, 4: purifying contaminated ambulances is not part of the responsibilities of 
detachment for purifying and treating contaminated injuries, but part of the overall 
responsibilities of field medical unit; and individual purification equipment of vehicles shall be 
used
