To stop the distribution of detective pipe inspection requests for pipes with an expiration date of more than a year or more, and the following procedures should be followed: a. the unit to be asked to prepare documents of such pipes according to the rules in article 18 of the instructions to distribute, dispense with chemical materials, equipment and systems, with reference to the article above regarding the distribution and the date expiration for more than a year in the notes' section of the document. b. To compensate the unit with new detective pipes from the chemical depots of the chemical divisions and corpse. c. to withdraw the expired detective pipes from the unit after being compensated for them with new ones. d. to distribute the old ones to use in training. 2. Amend the period specified in article 2 of our secret memo 2175, dated 2/28/1985, to make it one year instead of six months. 3. Audit the detective pipes inspection requests before distribution according to our secret and urgent memo 4873, dated 11/7/1984, considering the following: a. Name and type of equipment should be identified correctly ( Ex. detective pipe ...) b. The number that needs to be inspected, 10, 20, 30, etc. c. The percentages for detective pipes, and the following: First, The detective pipes with a red ring and a dot, 20 percent of which should be sent for inspection. Secondly, The detective pipes with a three green rings and a dot, 20 percent of which should be sent for inspection. [page-163] Third, some detective pipes, only 10 percent of which should be sent for inspection. d. The number of pipes that needs to be sent for inspection according the percentages above, (2,4,6 etc.) or (1,2,3 etc.). e. Expiration dates must be in accordance with what's written on pipes' packages, or the distinguishing color of each quantity. (New instructions on distinguishing color of each quantity should be provided later. f. The results of previous inspections should be provided, and if no previous inspection was done, it should be mentioned. Please take necessary action regarding reporting this to whoever it may concern to take action accordingly.
