SUBJECT: Support for NBC/CBR Operation Center - Operation 
Desert Shield

Information reported     (b) (2)       Subject: Iraqi Chemical 
Munitiong Characteristics Baseline, remains as the best 
available data on Iraqi chemical munitiong. Any changes or 
confirmations will be reported when received.

The following weapon systems are representative for each 
category weapon type to be incorporated into proposed matrix:

Missile

Artillery

155-mm Gun/How GB, GF, HD, D-HD

3.	During the Iran-Iraq war artillery projectiles filled with a 
Sarin-Mustard mixture were deployed and used. Consequently, ~cocktails~ of 
this type can be expected in any combat operation which Baghdad elects to 
use chemical weapons. Binary munitions, if available, would most likely be 
found in the Al Abbas missile. DIA has no information on V-type agent 
production and the filling of munitions with this agent.

Iraqi BW agents are anthrax, botulinum toxin, and tularemia.
