Command of military engineering 3rd platoon copy of instructions and plan

Sayed/ Commander of the twenty ninth Infantry Platoon
c/o Sayed / head of Military headquarters.
Subject/ Viewing
  Sir,
In the light of your instruction conveyed to us by infantry 29 message 2089, all oil wells and
gatherings (17) and (18) have been viewed on 29 / 10 , by our commanders and platoon officers
in the company of our platoon's officers . From the viewing that continued for three days , it has
been confirmed for the officers that oil wells and gatherings are prepared for delayed sabotage.
All documents were authorized for delivery between our platoon and their regiment. There is a
surplus of explosives, more than 60 boxes that are enough to rig more than one hundred (100)
other wells. The towers are not prepared for sabotage, because there was an order from the
honorable Presidency to exclude them. The delayed sabotage cycle have been inspected by
commanders of the 3rd platoon who did not find any negative aspects in the sabotage cycle . The
wells and their sabotage plan were shown to a committee from logistics in the company of
colonel Saad from 3rd platoon command and found no negative aspects, While the commander of
K (illegible) think the opposite. He did not see any well and so is his deputy who does not know
the place of the wells . All the officers in that platoon admitted, in front of lieutenant Abdel
Wahid Farag, that all the wells and gatherings prepared for delayed sabotage. A written admission
was obtained from them, as to the fact all is prepared for the electric mode without using ignition
devices according to the orders. As for the security gauge and its connection to the explosive,
this will entail the cutting of the gauge which will expose it to damage by weather conditions such
as humidity and rain. It may be lifted by infantry personnel or other personnel and as a result
we would lose an important and expensive material , while connecting the security gauge to the
explosive after inserting it in the lighter takes but a few minutes. This will be done when the
commander signals.
Sir, allow me to clarify that wells are delivered according to the platoons plan which outlined our
unit's responsibility is 42 wells and 2 gatherings and 2 water pumps. which were received
originally from 7th platoon and became our responsibility. I hereby lay the matter before you
without avoiding the truth hoping that your excellency to do justice to the efforts of our unit in
the service of the unit and our courageous army under the banner of the first justice administrator
the feared Saddam Hussien ( may God Protect him)
 Convey your orders, Sir.

Major
Hussien Ali Ouf
commander of (illegible) platoon /29
