Your information 11890 on 12/ 9/ 1990 quoted in the top secret and private Republican guards
command message 869 on 8/ 9/ 1990
1- According to the instructions during the war with the Persian enemy that all requirements for
the battle be met and supplies should be restricted to the supplies that serve the needs of the
battle, since there was no atomic threat at that time the ( A E T) pills that minimizes the radiation
effect were not secured since those pills spoil quickly when exposed to weather conditions.
2- There has been correspondence with the military preparations department to secure these pills
, samples of which were delivered , so they may be manufactured at the General Foundation for
medical industries and also the Atomic energy organization.

The studying department for the manufacturing of individual sterilization and rescue, (The A E T
) pills are one of its components, apologized at a later time according to the confidential and
urgent message of the Ministry of Industry and Military industries 249 on 7/ July/ 1990 .
4- It was confirmed that a contract would be signed with the equipping circles after the apology
of the Ministry of industry and Military Industries. for the time being It was not possible to do
that.
5- The General Foundation of medical industries did not approve the pills during the physical
tests for a sample of the same , because it did not conform to the specifications of Sando ( British
- American). Also the specialists referred to did not approve its use in the form of pills, which is
the only form that is available right now.
6- The pills will not increase the number of the survivors of an atomic attack as there are other
effects ( wind and heat). The procedures adopted by individuals and units will have the greatest
role in assessing the losses through trenches and spreading and using other reinforcements
(illegible) . The protection masks and protection equipment secures protection from the nuclear
dust and there for protect the individual from the nuclear pollution after the attack.
7- Perform according to the Presidency message 22313 on 19/ 8/ 1990 to the ministry of industry
and the military Industry to provide services of sterilization according to their capacity . There
are continuous efforts by the Scientific circles in the country to find the pills or similar pills and
they will supply it as soon as it is available.

Notice of the Following is stressed
1- Increase chemical awareness in all ranks ( officers and soldiers) , increase hours of training and
insure the maintenance of the Chemical protection equipment , because we are still at war with
the ( American _ Zionist_y) enemy.
2- Conduct continuous visits to the units and follow up the work of the chemical adviser.
3- Continue to deliver lectures to and train officers and soldiers.
4- Dispatch all status reports on the time specified by our command.
5- Revision of all sterilization locations and make sure that they are near roads and put signs to
led to them.
6- Hide and camouflage all technical vehicles and put water tanks in the sterilization stations with
the words ( Not for drinking) written on them.
7- Dispatch guides to (illegible) command.
8- Building of chemical observatories according to the model enclosed with our top secret
message 62 on 2/ 12./ 1990 and insure all its equipment.
9- Completion of group protection buildings as soon as possible.
10- Supply us with immediate distribution ( illegible) when circumstances change.
11- During the visit of the intelligence officer from 9 illegible) platoon 3 the following was
noticed:
a- Segment infantry 7th platoon, the chemical observatories do not fulfill the purpose they are
built for and they are ill - equipped.
b- Platoon / 8 There are no chemical observatories.
c- 14th platoon There are no chemical warning equipment.
d- 18th platoon the intelligence and the chemical observatories are merged , this is not right.
e- k 23rd platoon there are no chemical observatories at infantry brigade/ 83.

In the conference held for the chemical varieties commanders and the officers at the Chemical
Unit 3rd platoon the following points were stressed: Please complete as soon as possible.
1- Completion of chemical observatories and the partial sterilization points for all units .
Building shall be of mortar and cement. We have instructed their building in our message 62 on 2
/ 12 /1990. Enclosed is a plan for the chemical observatory.
2- The group protector should be erected at the logistics rooms at the formations.
3- Dispatch of the weather condition daily.
4- Maintenance of the biweekly stations for persons and specialized vehicles.
5- Finishing sterilization powder and ( unintelligible y) in case of any shortage supplies should be
ordered from the platoon.
6- Increase of training periods for use of protection masks , sterilization equipment and individual
rescue.
7- A drain pipe shall be sent to the chemical observatories at the units and the partial sterilization
points and ( illegible)
8- The repairs of the first line is the duty of platoon / 14
9- Institution of a 9 illegible) plan in the chemical observatory.
10- Viewing the locations of sterilization lines for the formation.
