Objective: To warn individuals of the existence of laser rays that are coming from range measures, guided weapons, or laser rifles. If they fall on the device, they provoke a sound for a few seconds. 2. Scope This system is used to warn from laser rays with wave lengths of 1.06 micrometers. It is the wavelength that is currently used in most laser systems and weapons. 3- Use: There two keys in the system: the first ÒOFF - ONÓ is for turning on and off the system and the second ÒTESTÓ is used for testing the system and battery. The system works as follows: a. The key is put on ÒONÓ. Then, a sound comes out for a few seconds then stops. b. The second key ÒTestÓ in pushed. At that point, a sound comes on for a few seconds then stops. This shows that the system is working. c. ÒONÓ key is left on when using the system and put back on :OFF when there is no need to use it. d. The battery that is used with it is 9 volts and works for about a month when using it continuously. It may be replaced by undoing the screw that is in the back cover of the system.
