A.       IRAQ: BAGHDAD HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT IT HAD
CONDUCTED RESEARCH ON OFFENSIVE BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS TO THE
UN SPECIAL COMMISSION BIOLOGICAL WARFARE INSPECTION TEAM.
THE BIOLOGICAL WARFARE PROGRAM REPORTEDLY INVOLVED SMALL-
SCALE RESEARCH ON ANTHRAX, BOTULINUM TOXIN, AND CLOSTRIDIUM
PERFRINGENS. SEPARATE LABORITORIES WERE DEDICATED TO EACH
OF THE AGENTS IN THE SALMAN PAK HIGH CONTAINMENT FACILITY,
