CHEMICAL MUNITIONS:  There were no chemical weapons at the [b.6.] brigade. Source explained that he was asked this question upon his capture, at which timehe invited the capturing unit to look through his munitions stocks to prove thathe was telling the truth.  Source acknowledged that, during the Iran-Iraq war,chemical munitions and  tear gas were used in both defensive and offensiveoperations with the majority being defensive.  However, Source is emphatic thatthere were no chemical munitions in the hads of Iraqi soldiers of the [b.6.]Division.
