(2) TAMP-SA (FWD) consists of contractor maintenance
augmentation teams, Contractor Field Service Representatives
(CFSR), technical engineers, Logistic Assistance
Representatives (LAR), and an engine service center. This
organization has the capability to provide augmentation
teams to assist units as required, accept AVIM passback,
apply selected depot modification work orders (MWO), and
perform engine trouble-shooting and on-aircraft repairs.
(3) TAMP-SA (BASE) is located at Pan American World
Wide Services facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It has the
capability to perform major airframe and component repairs
to include engines, rotor blades, hydraulic components,
avionics, and ground support equipment. The Base will
include a Mobile Engine Test Stand (METS), Army Oil Analysis
Program (AOAP) test facility, and Special Repair Activities
(SRA).
(4) Special Repair Activities (SRA) located in the
TAMP-SA (Base) are established for the AH-64 TADS/PNVS and
OH-58D Mast Mounted Sight (MMS). These are contractor
facilities capable of providing depot level repairs to
critical electronic components. Other SRA will be
established as additional requirements are generated by
Operation Desert Shield.
(5) The TAMP-SA is comprised predominately of
contractors and DA civilians to meet the maintenance
requirements of the highly technical equipment deployed,
