   (b) Units employ a considerable amount of CTA and
Installation type equipment, such as commercial PCs, STU
Ills (with keys), and FAX machines to support operations.
Support for this type~equipment in the AOR is limited,
however these assets greatly facilitated unit deployment
operations and should be taken if available. They have also
proved a useful means by which to transmit data in-country.

      (c) Deploying elements at all levels need to take with
them basic doctrinal references, Army Regulations (AR's),
Field Manuals (FM's), and Technical Manuals (TM's) required
to conduct logistical operations.

      (3) Source of Supply Management.

      (a) Requisitioning procedure.

           1. Units alerted for deployment, deploying, and
deployed should abide by standard requisitioning procedures
in AR 725-50 and published messages. Immediately upon
deployment alert, Army units will use project code `1EYY" in
all requisitions until 14 days before deployment, and use
JCS project code "9BU" thereafter. Material identifier for
project code ~`EYY?~ will be sent to the old break bulk point
(BBP) address. Materiel received after a unit deploys will
be consolidated and forwarded by home/mobilizing station, if
needed, to the new BBP. Materiel identified with project
code "9BU" will also be directed to the new BBP.

           2. Fourteen days prior to deployment unfilled
requisitions are reviewed. Requisitions still needed will
receive a new supplementary address which reflects where
follow on material should be shipped. Class VII material
should be routed to a PBO (e.g. Division PBO);
Class II/IV/III(P) would go to the normal Class II/IV point
(e.g. Division Supply and Service Unit); and Class IX
Common, Missile or Aviation would be routed to the
appropriate Divisional Supply Support Activity (e.g.
Division Class IX SSA). The deploying unit inust ensure that
the in theater distribution drop plan reflects these
activities. If not, provisions must be made to hold
materiel shipments for pickup when the deploying SSAs
arrive. This information should be coordinated with the
element managing the in theater distribution plan. At
present this element is the 321st TAMMC (LTC Palumbo/MAJ
Creighton). POCs can be reached by E-Mail:
321-MMC-c@ODS-HOSTl.ARMY.MIt or Commercial Telephone:
011-966-3-832-9000 Extension 241/293.

           2. Deploying units are authorized to modify
previously submitted requisitions. All FAD II units are
authorized to upgrade requisitions and add project codes.
Upgrades are for essential materiel. Special handling code
"999" is used only for the maintenance condition "not
