         10.  JP-5 was exc'.uded as it contains the Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII)
         which controls any possibility for microbiological growth by sterilizing the
--       water bottoms (e.g., separated water) in a fuel tank/cell.

         II.  To prevent the potential for microbiological growth, users need to maintain
         fuel cells/tanks in as "dry~ a condition as possible; i.e.1 microbiological
         growth in fuels only occurs where separated water is present.  Daily maintenance
         of fuel tanks, fuel cells, water fuel separators, etc to remove water is one
         insurance against this problem.  Another insura~ce is to treat the fuel with
         either of the Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (~It-I-27686 or ?(IL-I-85470), or
         the Diesel Fuel S~abilizer (MIt-S~53o2l).
