TOPIC: Chemical Casualty Identification
DISCUSSION:
Heat casualties can exhibit symptoms similar to chemical
casualties (i.e., difficulty in breathing, headache, drowsiness,
spasms, profuse sweating, ect.) and when wearing MOPP Gear, or
under threat of attack may be diagnosed as chemical exposure.
LESSON(S) LEARNED:
Suspect other than a chemical casualty if no other events
indicates a chemical attack or exposure was likely.
