         2. Communications Detachment provides radio and telephone connectivity
         between General Support Group 2 (GSrz-2) and elements of I MEF, Ist and 2nd
         Marine Divisions, 3rd MAW, lst FSSG, DSC and assorted Army, Navy and Air
         Force units in Southwest Asia. The telephone system is the primary means
         of communications for GSG-2 There are also two systems in place: Analog
         and digital. Telephone communications have been eastablished over two
         paths: Longhaul SHF microwave (TRC-170 and ORC-201) and VHF multichannel
         (MRC-135) links. GSG-2 has several big boxes in place including the
         TSO-84, TTC-42, TTC-38 and OK-267. The TTC-38 has a 600 line telephone
         capability.
