                The Regimental Aid Station was field deployed at Kuwait City
            International Airport following hostilities with Iraq. From 5
            March until the Regiment's departure for CONUS on 21 March, the
            primary focus of the medical department was advising the command
            of the acute shortage of solid and liquid waste disposal at the
            DSA. The command suffered no outbreak of fecal/oral disease such
            as dysentery, although the cramped living quarters did produce a
            significant number of upper respiratory infections. Combat
            readiness, however, remained unimpaired.
