       evasion maps, signalling devices, and other survival gear.
       Additionally, pilots were familiarized with combat damage scenarios and
       reminded to review their NATOPS pocket checklists.

                                    INTELLIGENCE
      @The Intelligence department continued to provide mapping support to
       the squadron and brief/debrief services in general support of MAG-11.

                                       MEDICAL
           During January, the Medical department distributed pyridostigmine
       (Nerve Agent pre treatment tablets) to the squadron for the first week
       of Desert Storm. The tablets were placed on hold after the first week
       due to a decreased threat. Anthrax vaccine was provided to all
       squadron members in a two shot series to combat the Biological threat.
       Additionally, immediately prior to Desert Storm. The Medical
       department distributed new Nerve Agent Antidote Kits (NAAK) to all
       squadron personnel and provided refresher training on injector usage.
       The medical department continued to provide sick call and emergency
       medical at the flight line aid station. No significant illnesses or
       injuries were reported for the month.
