       21 February 1991    HML-767, NOMADS, move to and fly 10 UH-lNs to
                           Lonesome Dovo Expeditionary   Air Field, Saudi
                           Arabial two aircraft remain   temporarily on
                           station at Al Jubayl EAF to   support HO 3DMAW.

       23 February 1991    NOMADS launched aircraft to   shuttle Marine
                           ground commanders and staff   to briefs.

       24 February 1991    NOMADS picked up a captured   Iraqi general in
                           Kuwait and transported the prisoner to MEF HO
                           the aircrew flow this mission wearing night
                           vision goggles (NVGs).

                          -NOMADS picked up two casualties in Kuwaitv one
                           Marine and one Iraqi prisoner both were
                           transported to the field hospital at LZ
                           Martin, the aircrow flew this mission wearing
                           NV(3s.

                          -NOMADS launched two armed Hueys to escort two
                           CH-46s into Kuwait, the same Huoys were
                           utilized in a hasty ned-evae role and
                           transported casualties to LZ Martin.

                           over enemy hold territory and resulted in the
                           surrender of 38 tanks (unconfirmed) at 2i3deg
                           30min N; 48deg 00min E; the aircraft also
                           encountered incoming enemy artillery fir* at
deg 45min N; and 48dog 14*in E; no damage to
                           aircraft or injury to crew.

                          -Psy0ps aircraft were used as a hasty
                           ned-evae located approximately 5 miles
                           southwest of Mina Salud, Kuwait, there, the
                           NOMADS evacuated five wounded United Arab
                           Emirate soldiers to Al Mishab, Saudi Arabia.

                          -two NOMAD aircraft launched in support of a
                           Public Affairs mission, civilian press took
                           still and video pictures of the 2MarDiv breach
                           site and also the enemy prisoners of war
                           (EPWs)l while on this photo mission the NOMAD
                           aircraft accepted a mission from the EPW camp
                           Commander to transport 3 EPWs to LZ Martin for
                           medical care.
