26 February 1991 NOMADS launched two huoys on a Psy0ps mission
to 29dog 15min N in Kuwait, no enemy fire
encountered.
27 February 1991 NOMADS launched two-hueys on Psy0ps, the
aircraft were forced to turn back due to
reduced visibility from the heavy smoke coming
from the burning oil wells near the Jabber
airfield in Kuwait.
28 February iggl NOMADS transported the Commanding General
3DMAW, General Moores from the Al Subayl, EAF,
Saudi Arabias to Kuwait International Airport,
Kuwait City.

I March 1991 The NOMADS launched two Huoys in support of a
Psy0ps mission, the aircraft flow over the Al
Waffrah oilfield and forest broadcasting the
surrender message to enemy troops below.
Friendly troops reported taking enemy fire but
the NOMADS did not encounter enemy fire.
2 March 1991 The NOMADS launched two Hueys in support of a
Psy0ps mission, the aircraft flow to the USS
Okinawa for an enemy situation brief% later
that nightv the aircraft with the Psy0ps
speaker system flew along the coast of Faylaka
Island well within small arms range,
broadcasting a recorded message to the enemy to
de several laps
around the island before roturning to the ship.
3 March 1991 The NOMADS launched two Hueys from the USS
Okinawa, one had the Psy0ps speaker system and
the other was configured for armed escort, the
two Hueys were accompanied by two Cobras from
the Okinawa, the Cobras remained out of enemy
fire range while the NOMADS flew directly to
Faylaka Island and circled the Island
broadcasting the recorded surrender message to
the enemy, enemy soldiers began waving white
flags and while in a 200 foot low orbit above
an enemy compound, the NOMAD pilots observed an
Iraqi general and his staff signalling with
white flags their desire to surrender.
