              19 Februarv.   On 21 Februarv. Ba@@terv "F" 2/14 dsolaced forward to DOSItions
              vicinitv OS 500 71-0 to SUDDort screening operations bv -@d Battalion. 2@rd Marines
              across the Kuwait border.    On the mornina and earlv afternoon of -13 Februarv.
              Batterv "F" 2/14 and Satterv "I" fired in     supoort of 3rd Battalion.   2@rd Marines
              screening operations eXDendina 121 rounds     of RAP.   The BOA indicated one T-55 tank
              destroyed bv fires from Batterv "F" 2/14.      On the evenina of 2-@ Februarv our
              tactical mission became ceneral suooort to 2d Marine Divi      sion as the battalion
              moved across the Kuwait border and occuoied Dositions vicinitv OS 587 8-'S southwest
              of the Umm Gudair oil field.     The move was conducted in EMCON "A" or radic)
              listenino silence.    "A" Command and advanced oarties moved at 17--,O. Satterv "F"
              2/14 at 18-'O. Batterv "I" at 1900. Battery "H" :;/I'. at 2000. "B" Command at 2013.
              and Combat Trains at '@045. All elements were in olace bv 2'@00.

                   At 0529 on 24 Februarv "Seven for One" commenced firino Dreparat4on fires as
              the  around offensive for Ooeration "Desert Storm" becan. The battalion e%oended 145
              RAP. 64 DPICtl. and 12 HE.   "A" Command and advanced oarties disolaced forward
              throunh the breach in the first and second obstacle      belts alona route Green 6 at
              17,-@O and Occupied positions vicinitv UT 668 07--, to the north west of Al Jaber
              airfield.   Thev were followed bv Batterv "I" at 1805. Batterv "H" -@/12 at 1850.
 and the Combat Trains at @1020.         All
              elements were n olace bv 2--@00. Althouoh these oosition areas were coordinated         with
              6th Marines. 3d Battalion. 6th Marines conducted a osvcholooical operation in the
              area east and adjacent to the battalion headquarters.       This action res,.tlted in
              small arms and heavv machine oun fire iMDaCtina in several areas within the
              battalion aosition.

                   '@5 Februarv saw 3d Battalion. 10th Marines return to its traditional mission of
              direct supoort to Oth Marines at 09@@4.      To su.o.oort the continued attack bv Bth
              Marines. the "A" Command and SattLrv "F" 2/14 advanced Darties areoared to follow
              in trace of the lead battalions ('-/4-and 1/8) while the remainder of the battalion
              orovided fires.    "A" command set down vicinitv UT 668 185.      Batterv "F" '@/14
              diSDIacecl forward and occuoied a firino DOSItiOn vicinitv OT 680 185.         Because
              of the reduced visibility resultino from oil well fire soot. coupled with the
              numerous Iraoi trench lines to be crossed. the decision was made to leave the
              rea)ainino firina batteries, "S" Command. and the Combat Trains in oosition until
              first liaht on @-6 Februarv.    The battalion orovided fire suooort throltahout the
              nicht to include those delivered as Bth Marines reoulsed a disjointed Iraci counter
              -attacl@ in the earlv mornino hours of 26 February.      Bv first liaht. "Seven for One"
              had exoended 1.4 HE. 503 RAP.   228 DPICM. and 16 Ilium durino 51. direct suooort
              missions.

                   Batterv "H" 3112 and PattL-rv "I" disolaced forward at 084" and 0846
              reSDectiveiv on the mornina of 26 Februarv. Batterv "I" occuoied a firing DOSition
ot
              join on  "A" Command but moved forward to occupy a Dosition short of the Sth Marines
              Line of Deoarture vicinitv of UT 674 266 north east of Al-Abdalivah.         Batterv "H"
              3/1@' disolacl-d in order to follow in trace'Df Bth Marines. - Batteries "F" 2114 and
              "I" orovided fires to Bth Marines as their attack closed on the outskirts of Kuwait
              Citv.   'A" Command occuoied OT 658 '119 and as Batterv "H"          occl(oied it's firina
              position vicinitv UT 69'-? -@40. Batterv "I" disolaced forwarc! to CT 681 -05@,.    Once
              BattLrv "I" was in olace. Batterv "F" 2/14 disolaced forward to OT 655 -@-6. and "B"
              Command olus Combat Trains closed on "A" Command.       As darkness fell on the everina
