      TA.SK FORCE TARO
      - OS 743551, TF begins screening in sector South of Berm.
      - 3/3 reports enemy vehicles north of berm (OS 780597). Permission
        granted to engage enemy vehicles. 3/3 engages with TOW's. One APC
        destroyed. No enemy response detected.
      - TF XRAY (1/3) at Assembly Area Micah.
      - TF Taro request permission to execute a coordinated recon insert
        employing Taro Recon and Division Recon Team (Earthworm).
      - Pride order Taro to begin taking NAPP pills and Anthrax pills.
      - Recon insert delayed by Pride due to 'Blue 82' mission and B-52 air
        strike.
      - Pride authorizes Recon insert for 220045.


      TASK FORCE RIPPER
      - Conducted final prep prior to G-Day and moved to final assembly

      - 0915, 'E' 1/12 fired mission on vehicles in open at grid TM 130588
        in support of TF Troy reconnaissance personnel. Vehicles were
        dispersed by 32 rounds of DPICM.
      - 1236, 3/11 occupied positions in TF Ripper's assembly area at grid
        OS 5846 firecap ready at 1400; mission DS TF Ripper.
      - 1640, 5/11 displaced to grid OS 5865, firecap ready at 1910, mission
        GS, priority calls for fire to TF Grizzly and TF Shepherd.

        0236, 3/12 fires 24 rounds in support of Recon (Id P-'r, nC" Co)
        vic OS 685802.
        0240, 2/7 OP reports incoming vic 602708 within !OO moters of position.
        No craters found.
        0355, 3/12 fires 24 rounds in support of Recon on Iraqi infantry at
        OS 666834.
        0500, Ma3.n CP assumc-o control of Berm.
        1917, 2/7 crosses LOD with forward security element.
        1918, 3/7 crosses LOD with forward security element/with 50 cal and
        TOW's.
