          AMEX D TO FRAG ORDER 19-91 M
          SUPPLY (U)

          1. Purpose: To provide guidelines and information in the
preparation for redeployment to ensure accountability and reporting
          procedures are properly adhered to.

          2. The following is provided:

              a. TENTAGE/CANVAS: Using Units will not consider tentage or
canvas unserviceable solely due to use in SWA. All tentage/
canvas will be inspected. If determined to be serviceable and
cleanable tentage/canvas will be prepared and embarked as required.
only nonrepairable or non-cleanable tentage/canvas will be turned
in to salvage for disposal. We anticipate each unit redeploying
          with its T/E of tentage.

              b. DoDAAD ADDRESS CliANGES: All TAC-1, 2, and 3 DoDAAD address
changes will be consolidated by the DSO per MCO 4420.4H. Unit
supply officers should report to DSO their effective date of
redeployment (when known) to ensure no "urgent requirements" are
shipped to the wrong destination. Rear party personnel should be
prepared to re-route shipments through available means, as
required. Units of the Marine Corps Reserve will follow the above
          procedures as well.

              c. MEAL-READY-TO-EAT (MRE): DSO is stocking MRE's at this
time to provide all using units with an initial seven day supply
upon their return to the Al Jubail area. Once the unit field mass
is operational, at least two hot meals per day will be provided to
all Marines. Additional MRE requirements can be drawn directly
from Rations Company at Camp #5 by the using unit supply section.

              d. MATERIAL ROLLBACK PROCEDURES: All rollback material
turn-ins must be made by scheduled appointment through the shipping
and receiving section, SMU, at the Port of Al Jubail, warehouse 12.
A computer generated shipping mat (BWA) must be provided utilizing
proper SASSY procedures prior to turn-in. No pen changes will be
allowed on shipping -mats. All material to be turned in must be
clean and condition code "A". Material turned in must be separated
by NSN and packaged with a DD 1348-1 shipping mat attached to the
          outside of container.

              e. KPS EQUIPMENT: T/E equipment received off MPS will be
returned SL-3 complete and in Condition code "All to the maximum
extent possible. All equipment must have a current LTI and a
current SL-3 inventory in the record jacket. The record must also
include an NSN listing of missing collateral equipment. Any
equipment not SL-3 complete or less than condition code "All will be
identified to Blount Island Command (BIC) personnel at the time of
