m. NBC MEDICANTE: Individual issue items for NBC defense
(including NBC medicants/antidotes) are a joint responsibility of
the NBC and supply sections for the reporting unit. Collection,
accountability and return of NBC medicants to MedLogCo is
accomplished jointly by reporting unit NBC and supply sections.
(1) CANA AUTOINJECTORS, NAPP BLISTER PACKS AND
CIPROFLOXACIN BLISTER PACKS AND BOTTLES will be returned to
MedLogCo. Segregate opened and unopened sleeves or bottles. These
items cannot be taken back to CONUS under any circumstances.
Return is required for later reclamation or disposal by DRMO.
Ciprofloxacin is an environmental hazard and must not be
individually discarded.
(2) ATROPINE AND 2-PAM CHLORIDE AUTOINJECTORS may be
retained for operational readiness at the unit level and embarked
as part of unit organic supply per recommendations of G-3/NBC.
Quantities above continuing unit requirements should be returned to
MedLogCo in CONUS.
(3) CANA AUTOINJECTORS contain controlled substances, and
appropriate accountability will be maintained. CANA cannot be
taken back to CONUS under any circumstances.

n. MISSING-LOST-STOL@N-RECOVERED (MLSR)-: Units are to ensure
that Missing, Lost, Stolen, or Recovered Government property is
reported in accordance with MCO 4340.1 and that MLSR is provided to
DSO within 72 hours after the occurrence or discovery, if possible.
on any delayed reporting, the using unit will provide the reason
for the delay to DSO. All reports will be submitted to the
Division Supply office for review and releasing to higher
headquarters.
0. REOUISITIONS: All new requisitions should be limited to
critical retrograde requirements. Only NORS requisitions will be
passed by the SMU to IMMs. All other requisitions will be
submitted with advice code 22, fill or kill only. A front end edit
by the SKU will place this advice code on all non-NORS requisitions
prior to processing. Requirements not filled in SWA will be held
until return to CONUS. Backorders will not be established, and
requisitions will not be passed to IMMs for other than NORS
requirements. NORS requisitions will reflect priority 05. This
does not preclude the use of 9BU Project Code. All SASSY
transactions will be submitted via courier diskette to SMU
Operations.
P. BOOTS AND CAMOUFLAGE UTILITIES: In accordance with
guidance from I MEF (G-4/Sup), it is our intent that every Marine
depart SWA with one pair of desert boots and two sets of
serviceable desert utilities. I MEF has indicated that there are
