1-rUr Situation. Refer to'Basic order.
2p@8* mission. To report NBC attacks,. contamination a'qd information in a
timely manner iri'order to keep all commands informed of NBC hazards.

ap#@-)- Concept of Operations. Upon attack by cher..ical or biol@g@cal
agents units will send an initial warning to HHQ, FLASH precedence.
Initial warning is to alert Div units of an attack and radio operators for
Ilowing report. An NBC 1 report will follow the initial warning. NBC 3
*ports will not be transmitted but will be plotted.within each battalion
utilizing the information from the NBC 1 report.
b.-("')- Tasks. All commands within ist MarDiV will submit NBC reports as
follows.
INITIAL WARNING will be sent FLASH precedence over TAC I
or any available net. The transmission will state 11 (Unit
calling to) this is (Unit calling) FLASH, FLASH, FLASH
GAS,GAS,GAS NBC I TO FOLLOW"
(2)-t&r NBC I REPORTS will be sent FLASH precedence to the next
HHQ over TAC I or any available net. Div, Task Force and
Separate Bn HQ will ensure that all subordinate commands
are notified. Units will ensure that line "Yankee" is
included in all NBC I Reports.
(3)-" NBC 2 REPORTS will be sent IMMEDIATE precedence, only upon
request, to the next HHQ over an admin/logistics net.
(4)-"" NBC 3 REPORTS will be sent IMMEDIATE precedence, only upon
request, to the next IIHQ over an adinin/logistics net.
(5).(.W+ NBC 4 REPORTS will be processed within the contaminated
battalion.
(6)-@0* NBC 5 REPORTS will be sent by courier or covered FAX to
HliQ as soon as available.
(7).fAi.) NBC 6 REPORTS will be sent by courier, only upon request,
to the next HliQ.
(8)+" CHEMICAL DOWNWIND MESSAGE will not be sent. Subordinate
units will keep track of the weather data (at a minimum
wind direction and speed) in their area. This data will be
sent to filiq in line "Yankee" of the NBC I Report. Wind
direction will be in degrees magnetic and wind speed will
be in kilometers per hour (Kmph). Line "Zulu Alpha" can be
added to the NBC I Report if required.
