some of the dry rot, have broken. We have cots and litters

we can use for them, but from a nursing point of view, it

makes it a little less convenient than the hospital beds or

the field beds that we have that are higher. Again, those

are on order and we don't now when they're due to arrive.

It will make it inconvenient, but it should not restrict us

                 in any way.

           Q. I understand a CAT-scanner is on the way?

           A. A CAT-scanner is on the way and due to arrive in about a

month. However, a CAT-scanner in a combat scenario is not a

high-priority item. That is an item that probably would

have been of more value to us over the last four months

while we were functioning more as a community hospital. In

a combat scenario, it may be useful in a few cases, but by

and large, like a lot of other fancy equipment, some that

we've obtained, some that we've requested, it's probably not

                 going to be very helpful.

           Q. Fleet Hospital 5 is supposed to be an echelon three

                 facility, is that correct?

           A. That's correct.

           Q. In actuality, you are really in the combat zone.

           A. At the present time, we're in the rear of the combat zone.

Four months ago we were probably at the front edge of the
