  DESCRIPTION-OF-CATEGORIES

     1. ORTHOPEDIC  -CONDITIONS. Fractures, possible fractures, sprains,
     dislocations, low back pain, muscle strains, bunions, corns, heel pain,
     etc.

     2. TRAUMA (Non-combat). Injuries not included above. Lacerations,
     abra@i@-6EEI- bruises, head injuries, animal bites, snake bites, etc.

     3. DIARRHEAL-ILLNESS.    Diarrhea [two or more loose (unformed) stools per
     day3, nausea/vomiting, gastroenteritis, dysentery, gastritis, food
     poisoning.

     4. RESPIRATORY DISEASE. Includes URI'S, "colds", asthma, bronchitis,
                              runny nose, sinus infections, ear infections.

     5. SKIN CONDITIONS. Dermatitis [acne, heat rash, viral or bacterial
     rath&E--fungal rashes (incl. jock itch), eczema, contact dermatitis],
     sunburn, blisters, insect bites, lice, moles, warts, etc.

     6. PSYCHIATRIC CONDITIONS. Depression, situational reactions, anxietv,
                                    suicide attempts, substance abuse.

     7. HEAT INJURY. All heat injuries: dehydration, heat cramps, heat
     exhaa@i--i-o-n-,--a-n-d-heat stroke are included here. (List heat stroke also under
     SPECIAL-CONDrtroNs.)

     8. COLD INJURY.    All cold injuries: Hypothermia, trench foot, frostbite,

     9. EYE DISEASE/INJURY.   Infections/inflammation of the eye or accessory
                                    foreign bodies, solar injury, vision
     disturbances or loss.

     10. GYNECOLOGIC, OBSTETRIC CONDITIONS. Diseases or infection of the
                                                  genitalia or pregnancy. (List
     pregnancy also under SPECIAL CONDITIONS.)   Do NOT include sexually

     11. SEXUALLY-TRANSMITTED-DISEASE. NEWLY diagnosed cases of gonorrhea, non-
