(4) Prioritize procurement of contingency vaccines based
on the immediate and long-term needs of the Army.
(5) Ensure that the contingency vaccines are available to
Army units and installations, based on missions and other
operational considerations.
(6) Address transportation and security issues associated
with the distribution of the vaccines.
(7) Ensure that the policies are coordinated with 7th
Medical Command and U.S. Army Europe;-18th Medical Command and 8th
U.S. Army Korea; U.S. Army Japan; 3rd'Army Surgeon's Office
(CENTCOM Army Forces); U.S. Array Southern Command (Army Element of
U.S. Southern Command); U.S. Army Western Command; U.S. Special
Operations Command; office of the chief of Army Reserve, Surgeon's
office; and National Guard Bureau, Surgeonts office.
b. SGVPRC Working Group (WG) is co-chaired by the NBC Defense
Staff Officer in the Directorate of Health Care Operations
(DASG-HCZ) and the Disease Control Consultant in the Directorate of
Professional Services (SGPS-PSZ). The SGVPRC WG will recommend
vaccination policies, changes, and procedures to the SGVPRC and
will present issues associated with the vaccination plan. The
SGVPRC WG will execute the vaccination plan as approved by TSG and
under the guidance of the SGVPRC. Permanent members of the SGVPRC
WG will be representatives from the following organizations:
(1) Directorate of Health Care Operations (DASG-HCZ)
(2) Directorate of Professional Services (SGPS-PSZ)
(3) Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (DCSOPS/DAMO-SWC)
(4) Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (DCSINT/
DAMO-FIT)
(5) U.S. Army Concepts Analysis Agency
and
(HQ and U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity [USAMMDA])
(7) U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA)
(8) U.S. Army Health Services Command (HSC).
(9) Forces Command (FORSCOM), Surgeon's Office
(10) U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC)
