                         MEDICAL BIOLOGICAL WARFARE DEFENSE PLAN

          1. @ Establish a contingency stockpile of BW vaccines,
          antitoxins,,taxoids, and immune globulins for all the services.
          Continue to produce anthrax and botulinum vaccines. Stockpile
          other Bw vaccines as they transition from Milestone III from U.S.
          Army Medical Research and Development Command. Each service is
          responsible for funding their requirements.

              a. @ Projected service force requirements for the biological
          products are as follows (Note that these numbers are projections
          and may change with subsequent force strength and budget updates):
                                                                  5 USC 522(b)(1)
                  (1)      Army - Contingency vaccine stockpile for
          soldiers. This approximates the end strength for active and
          reserve forces which make up the personnel strength for the three
          Force Packages.

                  (2)  @ Air Force - Projected requirement of          irmen.

                  (3)  @ Navy - Projected requirement still being
