             3. TS%L EXECUTION.

                  a. n"" Concept of operations.

                       (1) "K*L Medical support will be provided by organic
             medical units in support of forces deployed to the AOR. Units
             which do not have organic medical units will be provided medical
             support on an area basis. Medical treatment facilities
             established in the AOR will be austere and limited to that
             essential for the preparation of patients for further evacuation
             or to provide treatment for short-term patients for rapid return
             to duty. Corps level hospitals will provide resuscitative
             treatment to casualties. EAC hospitals will provide further
             resuscitative and stabilization treatment to casualties evacuated
             from Corps or other EAC hospitals and provide resuscitative
             treatment on an area basis. Patients requiring treatment beyond
             the capability of deployed medical units and Host Nation
             hospitals will be evacuated to U.S. military hospitals outside
             the AOR. Where available, Host Nation Support (IiNS),
             particularly in SAUDI ARABIA and the GCC states, will be used to
             offset EAC bed requirements.

                       (2) "?"+ All suitable means of transportation in the
             AOR will be utilized for patient evacuation. Priority will be to
             aeromedical evacuation out of the AOR and will be augmented b@-
             surface evacuation as required. Casualty staging facilities will
             be established as required and evacuation to fixed U.S. militar@@
             hospitals out of the AOR will be as directed by the USCENTCOM
             Joint Medical Regulating Office (JMRO). Evacuation from the AOR
             will be in accordance with patient needs and the evacuation
             policy.

                       (3) (U) EAC Medical Groups will provide health
             services support on an area basis in defined geographic sectors.

                  b. "@04 ARCENT Medical Command (PROV) (Riyadh).

                       (1) (U) Assume command and control of units IAW ANNEX
             A, (TASK ORGANIZATION).

                       (2) (U) Provide health    services support to EAC forces.
